Learning from others

The fantastic thing for me in reviewing students' e-portfolios is how each was so different. Although everyone has the same overarching idea of sharing their thoughts and views, each e-portfolio is uniquely different. First, I was interested in reviewing how students organized the work from previous classes. For example, some ranked all their course work in the menu with the assignments listed, while others listed the courses with assignments posted on a separate page under the course heading. The second thing I observed was the blog post; this also varied from person to person. The big takeaway for me in reviewing other e-portfolios is to make it yours and create your e-portfolio based on how you want to read the information.

I agree with you that collaboration is a good form of sharing and learning information. It is so magnificent to absorb and learn new ideas from other people. I myself is a fan of collaboration.
