Finding your voice

Voice is important in an e-portfolio but also in life. So it would help if you shared your authentic self in your e-portfolio. However, sharing your authentic self can be challenging since it also puts you in a vulnerable position to be judged by others. But in sharing your voice, you are being true to yourself, making your writing believable while also creating trust with the reader. Lastly, voice can be valuable to others in how you relate to readers and their shared experiences.

To make ourselves vulnerable for feedforward will most certainly result in discovery of voice. These opportunities I have had from you and our peers have led me to my own voice. We all have something to contribute to our communities and even the world. The ePortfolio and our blog posts are the first steps to bringing about change through our voices.

I struggle with this too! I want to show my true self but I am also aware that only so much can be communicated digitally. I am working on finding a way to share my voice and not be afraid of any judgement

Sharing your voice can definitely be a challenge. It's a struggle that I am working on. Thankfully the ADL program provides many opportunities for me to overcome that fear.
